Terms & Conditions

 Last updated: April 2026

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website bubnellcliff.co.uk and any purchases made through it. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Bubnell Cliff is a UK-based beef retailer. Our contact details are available on our website. For any queries, please get in touch via the contact page.

2. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products described. We will confirm receipt of your order by email, but this does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your order.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at any time, for example if a product is out of stock, there is an error in the pricing or description, we are unable to verify your payment, or we cannot deliver to your address. We will notify you as soon as possible if an item in your order is unavailable.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched. We use secure payment processing and do not store your full card details.

If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Delivery

We deliver fresh beef products across the United Kingdom using specialist chilled delivery methods. Delivery timescales and charges are shown at checkout and may vary by location and product.

It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, we may leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour at our discretion, but we accept no liability for spoilage resulting from a failed delivery through no fault of our own.

Estimated delivery dates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, such as adverse weather or carrier issues.

5. Product Information and Food Safety

All products are handled in compliance with UK food safety legislation, including the Food Safety Act 1990 and relevant retained regulations.

Product descriptions, weights, and photographs are as accurate as possible. Natural variations in size, colour, and appearance may occur as these are fresh or whole cut meat products. Weights stated are approximate and actual weight may vary slightly.

If you have specific dietary concerns or allergies, please contact us before ordering. Do not consume products after the use-by date shown on the packaging.

6. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

Please see our Returns Policy.

7. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If goods are not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of satisfactory quality, you have the right to request a repair, replacement, or refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or the products we sell. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any matter for which it would be unlawful to limit liability.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of Bubnell Cliff or its licensors. You may not reproduce or use any content without our prior written consent.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance. We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. If we are unable to resolve a dispute, you may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme as set out in UK consumer legislation.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website with the date of the most recent update. Continued use of our website or placing of orders after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
